buy myself flowers

My mom told me this morning one of her coworkers’ New Year’s resolution was to buy herself flowers every week. What a lovely idea: not being so fixated on improving yourself, but on doing little things for yourself, to make yourself happier. I love that. Having flowers around really is a great little thing I can do to brighten up my place and my mood, so as soon as I’m settled and have a little extra cash to do this, I want to keep flowers around the apartment all the time. :)
