buy a camera

I didn’t totally buy it on my own. About four weeks ago my sister and brother-in-law gave me an early birthday present: the exact camera I wanted. I’m helping with the payments (cuz it was a bit too pricey for me to except, truthfully).

I love it. I don’t know how to use it yet, but I’ll learn.

And I got the exact camera I wanted: the Canon S2 IS.

That’s what I’m saving up for. I have a very sweet Olympus right now which has been my right-hand man and at all my beck and call for the last 8 months. But it’s time to step up and get a camera that will give me a little more control.

Because I can’t afford to invest in the really great lenses right now, I’m not going SLR (yet). This Camera looks great (and I have my Flickr friend Aqui-Ali to thank for helping me to find the right one for me.). (Well, he didn’t really help me; he bought one; and then sold me on the idea.)
