1. Grocery store wasn’t too bad, even though it was fairly crowded with pre-Packers purchasers. Blech. But I didn’t have too much to buy, just Thanksgiving stuff, since I’m not going to be cooking much the rest of the week.
2. Ramona did a good job at her violin lesson. She’s making great progress on learning “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.”
3. Ramona helped me make the corn muffins she’s supposed to take to her Thanksgiving feast tomorrow. She’s a good helper, and fun to cook with.

1. We slept late enough that I didn’t get to see whether the sun came up at the crack of dawn. Ramona slept until almost 8!
2. The cable guy came to install Time Warner Cable, Roadrunner high speed internet, and Time Warner telephone service. We are liking it so much more than DirectTV I can hardly believe we waited so long. Hundreds of channels! Decent DVR’s! Television on demand, free! And the high def picture is amazing.
3. P made his “chicken” fricasee with mushrooms and turnips, and truffle mashed potatoes. Amazing. I ate waaaay too much.
4. Watched “Shortcuts” with P. I like that movie, although Robert Altman doesn’t tend to leave me feeling very positive about humanity.

1. Painted some more while Ramona was at school. Fun fun fun.
2. Made a winter squash pasta dish for dinner. Pretty yummy.
3. Before bed, I asked P to close the bathroom door so the sun wouldn’t wake us up at the crack of dawn. P said, “The sun doesn’t come up at the crack of dawn anymore.” I actually had to explain his mistake to him. He was tired! And I know this doesn’t say much about my character, but I laughed and laughed. Best laugh I’ve had in awhile.
