zucchini, yellow squash, snow peas and scallions.
Now the only thing remaining is to plant the tomatoes, peppers and herbs once danger of frost has passed, in about two weeks or so.
M and A planted the carrot, brussels sprout, and snow pea seeds they got in their Easter baskets. This year they have their very own special Kids’ Garden.
(Next year they’ll probably have to share it with Ramona a little more, but for this year I doubt she’ll do much work. I’m basing that on the fact that, when she helped me plant the lettuce seeds, she took the most pleasure in digging out the dirt from the pot where we’d already planted the seeds. Not a quality you look for in a gardener.)
with Ramona. I’m hoping to plant some more seeds this weekend.
I will plant tomatoes in the upside-down tomato planters, and herbs and some peppers in the top of those.
Then, where I had the tomatoes and herbs last year, I think I’m going to plant lettuce, squash/zucchini, and some peas. Maybe some more herbs, too.
