I’m taking a class through school for one credit. So far, I’m really enjoying it. The instructor studied for numerous years in India with Iyengar himself.
Feelin’ good.

The rec center at school offers a morning yoga class at six; a friend talked me into going with her this morning. It was a really good session, but I don’t know if I can keep up the habit of getting up at five a.m. regularly.
new start. I think that my new home with my mom will be a conducive environment for me to keep up with doing yoga. We’ll see.
So many of my goals are connected.
A yoga instructor once told me that upside-down positions are an excellent treatment for depression, and since I have been unemployed for two months (find a job is one of my goals) I have been unable to pay for my not-yet-generified (I don’t think that’s a word) depression prescription (beat my depression is one of my goals) so I’m going to try to do yoga as often as possible, both because I love yoga, and because I cannot handle depression alone. Wish me luck!
I’ve taken a few classes and I love yoga. I would like to start doing it by myself… maybe three times a week? Just to start.
I’m going to learn the sunrise salutation and practice it in the mornings.
