Highest jump is 45 feet so far, but this year I’m going for one of the 60 footers. Hopefully I live through it, haha. It really is a great time and once you get the hang of it, it isn’t too challenging at all. You just sort of have to trick your body into leaping into free space and then crashing into freezing water. What a rush, though once you do it. Highly recommended. I’d really love to try this somewhere with even higher cliffs. My favorite so far is a 45 foot drop next to a waterfall. Its beautiful :)

For those who don’t know, Ice climbing would be when you climb frozen waterfalls, areas where dripping water freezes, or high moss areas, where the water that the moss collects freezes. There’s not really capabilities to do this all over the world, but I’m lucky to live in Michigan where it is possible. I just bough some mountaineering boots and my crampons are already here! I can’t wait for the season to start!! I am officially an officer of the club, even though I haven’t really ice climbed a whole hell of a lot. I think they just wanted to include me and needed a lady in the mix. But, whatever, this is gonna be fun!
