I’ve set up a site through cargo collective. I think this is the perfect starting point because it’s a well-designed, professional place for me to show prospective employers some of my work. I can always up the ante further down the road.
other things I’d like to accomplish:
update my printed portfolio (this is a must)
post more work onto behance
build a network through behance
work on some personal projects that are portfolio worthy
give cargo account my own domain
put more consideration into myself as a brand

I’ve been working on my portfolio on and off for quite some time now. It’s definitely time to push out all the stops, as I’m thinking about a career change very soon. I first want to eek out my online portfolio. My personal website has expired, and I have very little desire to renew it. So, I’m setting up on Behance. I’m super excited about the community aspect, and I think it will offer a lot of insight and opportunity, while remaining creative and professional.
I have chosen the projects I want to share, but now comes the difficult part – Taking care of all the details, printing more stuff, maybe mockups, layout of items, and most importantly taking photos. I would essentially like to treat this as a full photo shoot, with each photo fully styled, looking AWESOME.
