I usually buy cds if they are classics, or if I feel that I am supporting a small musician who really inspires me. I generally stay away from top-of-the-charts types. But, I absolutely could not resist the glee soundtracks. They are excellent for road trips and for exercising! Total happy makers.

Bon Iver and Coldplay – LOooooVE. Also getting a new micro system. I currently have this monstrosity that is so ugly and doesn’t really fit anywhere, so I have to sit it on the floor. I think that getting a nice new smaller prettier one will really make me want to listen to more music (MORE MUSIC LESS TV!)
Due to downloading, I have not bought a cd for at least a couple of years. This was fine at first, but I really miss working on my cd collection! I love buying actual cds, browsing a real store, where I’m bound to discover something amazing… I love the artwork, I love having a full album, I love playing the full album in order, from start to finish, as it was intended to be played. I’m tired of playing a mishmash of random songs, no reference point, no bigger picture…. I’m tired of only getting the most popular songs from any given artist…....
So, I vow to buy more cds! Wow, I feel more passionately about this than I realized!
