Hung out this weekend at the Marin Headlands, Rodeo Beach. Very beautiful, but I still prefer Tennessee Valley Beach a little further down.

So we found Cafe Cocomo for salsa lessons and dancing. Thursday at 8pm. It was awesome even though I really wasn’t very good. Also, I tracked down Kiva’s offices, found the best desserts ever at Cafe Grecco, went to the Great American Music Hall which is my favorite show venue now, and found SF Camerawork on Mission where I’m going to volunteer and eventually have a show (I can feel it). Tonight we had some awesome pizza in N.Beach at GoodBoy’s (?) next to Sodini’s (my favorite Italian restaurant!!).

Next assignment: go to FiftyCrows at 49 Geary

we went to La Taqueria in the Mission, I found the Fulton St. stairs, we walked around Russian Hill, I discovered 49 Geary for fine art/photography. Making serious progress. Now to find more elusive, less touristy hideouts and getaways buried within.

is like a foreign city. I really loved it. I’m headed back there for the big new year’s parade at night on the 11th.

I went to Golden Gate Park last weekend and just the little bit I saw was great. I’m going to go there every Saturday for the next few weeks. There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants near where I parked last week, so the plan is to get some pho and take a walk.
I also went to an AWESOME Indian restaurant called Chutney’s. I HIGHLY recommend it for a fast cheap and SUPER DELICIOUS meal.
