save 15% of each paycheck

Finally I’m doing this again! Let’s keep it up so I have a nest egg when I get fired!

I’m almost 100% there! I occassionally dip in to my savings to make it thru to the end of the month, but I’ve really been working on not doing that. Of course, having said that, I’m buying plane tickets today, and that’s coming out of my savings…..so begins the great summer drain….still, if I can manage not to hit it for the little stuff, I might actually still have a savings account this fall.

So far I’m doing ok, but certainly not up to actually saving a whole 15%. But hey, at least I’m saving. Of course, with all the weddings and trips planned for this year, I’ll probably be screwed…
