build a robot

I made little robots that kind of float and follow each other’s movements. They make a data ripple.

Its collect all the parts phase now, so I can start building.

I need small motorized gyroscopes! Anyone know a good surplus house for this? Edmond Sci. is Soooooo expensive! Yikes.

Messing around with different designs so far. I think I’ve just about narrowed down what function it will have.(You’ll have to wait and see.) And I like it!

Time to experiment and quickly get going on it. I was just hunting parts on line and having really crappy luck! I’ve been told to look for some specific pieces at Chicago Scientific Surplus by a truly brilliant man. Except I can’t find them on the web! ugh and double drat! No time for this!

I went to my old robot studio last night.(Recombinant media studio) Oh oh oh, I got teary eyed. I didn’t want to leave. I have to get back in there. I’m too busy right now.

Goal: New robot, design: December; programming Jan – May; Build Feb – May, completion May 25, 2006.
