I tuliped my studio on Valentine’s day. My dear sweetie is far away so I had to go it alone so to speak. So I bought a bunch of red tulips, and gave them out to random people – even one to my prof’s.

I noticed as the day pressed on, the tulips were changing hands – being given away again and again. That’s so groovy. It was like, ‘spread the love – man.’ totally. dude.

Alright, so, life is wonderful in its entirety – not always easy, not always bad. Ya. So when those really sucky moments happen and no one appropriate is there to hand you a tissue or give you a back rub, or bring you roses. What are you going to do? Lonely sucks the worst.

I decided to have a little hand in this sort of thing. Fk, someone should be a friend to the friendless. I guess this is about wanting to create what I would like the world I live in to be.
Here’s the Story:
An acquaintance at school – a very nice, funny, weird, smart, artist one – got lied to and dumped by a guy. She was crying a lot these days so I left some flowers by her paintings and an anonymous note that said she was wonderful in a friendly way and a genuin way. A funny comradery way, NOT a ‘your pathetic here’s flowers’ way. Its so much fun to do random acts of friendliness. She has a wicked sense of humor. I wonder if people could take it the wrong way though. Expectations are tough to negotiate. How would you feel?
