March 7, 2007. 2 days after my 20th birthday. Lol. I was so giddy, went for a victory drive.
Now I’ve got my own car, and a lot more confidence driving.
If you live in the lower mainland, Burnaby is the best place to go for your roadtest!

I had my re-test today… I FAILED AGAIN. AHHHH.

I did much better, as in out of the 4 parts I can fail, I only failed 1 (the most important one, obviously) as opposed to only PASSING 1 last time. I felt like I did worse this time though, so I was really quite pissed off and I cried again (emo) and I didn’t talk the entire way home. But now I feel better because I actually DID improve, but now I have to renew my L (MORE MONEY TO ICBC) but I’m gonna ask them if I can just do the interim licence thing cuz I’ll take the test again.

...I can’t believe I did better this time. Wtf. I got a “omfg when will this end” vibe from my examiner… but I successfully executed a 3-point turn…

Argh. $70 on 2 road tests, another $10 or $25 for renewing my L, and then I have to take the bloody knowledge test again. STUPID DRIVING.

Lovely little note he left me. Doesn’t make up for him failing me, though. It almost seems patronizing.

Yeah. I’m less emo now that I know I didn’t do worse. After the test I tossed the key to my dad and then when we went to the car I threw the test sheet and my licence and my L in the back seat.
I was pissed.

But okay. I need some good food and a time machine, then I’ll be COMPLETELY okay.

took my road test today… failed… but not because I did anything stupid, just because I didn’t shoulder check as much as I should, and I take left turns a bit too sharp… but that’s like IT. I’m gonna take my test again in a week, as soon as the stupid online booking service realizes that I’ve already taken the test and lets me book another one…
