This was my pace in my last 5K a XC race in late Nov. It was my PR. Will continue to work on this while running 3X per week.

Well, in my last tri (6/17), the last leg I ran 3 mi. at 7:58 pace. This was after 1/2 mi. swim, 12 mi. bike. It was hot and I was exhausted during the run and even walked a bit. Why did I run so much faster than during my 5Ks? Maybe I was warmed up. Anyway, I have another tri on Sun and although it’s only 2 mi run at the end, I hope to work on my pace.
Well, my 5K today was at a 8:28 pace, which is my best. Still working towards this goal…
Well, I have started running more often again. I am running twice a week right after 45 min spin class so that I’ll be ready for the triathlon (hopefully!). I jogged a mile at around 9:13 pace after class tonight. I could have gone faster or maybe longer, but I didn’t want to push it. I’ll have to do a longer run this weekend-at least 5K…
I guess it’s really good to take some time off from running. Was stronger today and even only did 2 miles, did a good set of intervals. Probably kept on going, but didn’t want to push it too much being as for the last week or so I haven’t been doing much more than 1 mile. Next month I’ll do another race and see how my time is after many months w/o one.
I ran tonight after spin class so that I would be tired. I will eventually be able to run the 3 miles after spin class-I hope. I hope that this will help me. I don’t hink that I can fit a race in until March. Every weekend that there is a race either I’m taking a school workshop or a yoga workshop.
jogged today and took it easy. 1.5 miles-I was psyched to listen to my new songs on my running playlist-which I put on (I kinda learned today!)
Finally jogged today after about a month off due to injuries! It felt so good, although I took it really slow.
Went to the doctor today and got my MRI looked over. Everything was fine although I did have water in my knee from my xray a few weeks ago. I will begin to jog a bit this week! I am so excited!
This is the time that I would need to get to run at an 8 min pace for a 5K. Good luck to me altough I have not been able to run for about 4 weeks now. I got a MRI and now will go back to the dr yet again. We’ll see what will happen next. I’m SO ready to run again!
