When people say “but he’s just my best friend,” I laugh. I said that. I was totally oblivious to my true feelings for Cory until he confessed his own. Even then, I just felt sorry that I couldn’t offer the same feelings back. Well…time progressed, and I realized that being “just friends” was a cop-out. I allowed myself to fall head-over-heals in love with the man who is now my husband (5 years coming up).
If you have a best friend who makes you feel wonderful about yourself, makes you laugh until your belly hurts, offers the listening ear that you need at any time, and helps you to be the person you want to be, END the friendship and START the romance!!!!!!
