very quickly!!! no major issues at work. only 2 clients didn’t run payroll today, which means i’m doing pretty good for the week…i have 253 clients currently (total. some are weekly, every other week, 2 times a month or monthly) and i know of 3 more that i’m getting because these clients already have accounts with me & requested i remain their specialist. that feels good because i do really love what i do, regardless of how crazy things can get

home alive and in 1 piece

i got a raise! YAY!!!! i’ve worked my butt off for this!
now, i need to focus on a few things so i can get a promotion…i had to wait a year of being a Sr. Payroll Spceialist before i could start working towards the next step…
now i need to shadow in New Clients and Electronic Network Services so i can move towards a supervisor position and then on to management

Samhain!!!! I went to Salem this afternoon for a little bit…it was too much…too many people, too many smells, too much weird energy…it wasn’t the Salem i’ve always enjoyed…i think, going forward, i’l avoid one of my favorite places around Hallowe’en because i just have such a hard time dealing with all that…i felt nauseaous (spelling much?) a few times because it was just so overwhelming…sigh but i got catnip for my kitties & new “bling” for Siouxsie as a blessing present…she’s so cute wearing it!! as soon as i put her collar back on with the amulet she was struttin around, little head held so high!! she brings so much joy to our little home!!!

about a gray autumn day is it makes the colors of the leaves pop even more and add such a brilliant splash of cheery color!!!

they said it was going to rain all day today!!!
i woke up to sunshine & birdsong!!!! lol

and i got out of work at 3:45!!!! YAY!!!!!
and i got a new purse after work (it’s smaller & leather)

with 2 friends from work, Sevi & Elli, we saw 2 little field mice in the flower foliage. Sevi tore up a piece of bread & threw it so the mice could have it to eat! they were soooo cute!!! the little mice made us smile when we had been so stressed by month end! i’m grateful for sweet little field mice! :)

brought me a box of chocolates when he came in to pick up his payroll!!!! they’re very yummy chocolates & i shared them with some of my co-workers (everything tastes better when you share)
i called him to thank him & he wasn’t in the office today so i’ll have to call him Monday & send him a nice thank you card because it was very nice of him!
the office manager said he used to bring her little christmas presents when she was a receptionist!
have i mentioned that i love what i do? :)

i have to do today is figure out a way to get the new armoire upstairs & do it (with help of course…that thing is beastly heavy!!!)
