Save money

I have been and plan to continue saving all of the money I’m making through freelance work. I also need to start making contributions from my regular salary towards my savings. I need to set a regular payment and payment schedule, as set goals and a time frame.
I would like to save enough to have a 3-6 month cushion in case of emergency and also have money put away towards a real vacation next summer. I need to decide how much I should save and spend on a vacation. I’m reluctant to spend on luxuries like this, but I think its important to balance saving and spending on new and memorable experiences.
