Buy a House

So it’s almost mine! My cooling off period has ended with no problems, and I have paid my 10% deposit. Now I’m just counting down until settlement (actually.., must find out if I can push it forwards!) So excited!

I bought a place :) A nice little 2 bedroom apartment, just waiting for all of the paper work to go through!

So now single. Going to look into buying a little apartment on my own. so excited :) imagine… clean… tidy and exactly how I want it lol

Got our pre-approval. In the middle of looking now.

Going to buy a place with my boyfriend.. so excited :) We have our second meeting with our mortgage broker next week and a shortlist of places to look at.

I think I am going to put this off for a bit. Even though the government has offered some really REALLY good incentives for first home buyers, I love the place I’m at at the moment and the rent is just so cheap I think I’ll keep a good thing going for a few more years. I like having the excess money to spend :)

I’d like to buy a place in maybe a year, after another holiday or two if I can get a good loan. I’d like a newish, 2 bedroom apartment in my current town.
