i have been contacting MA programs in fine arts and writing latly. im not sure why. i still have two years until i graduate. i think this is really important to me and i dont want to procrastinate about my future anymore. so i contacted most of these schools to get more information. i am thinking of going out east, west, if i can afford it this year sometime, and taking my portfolio to get advice on what i need to work on to get into these schools
-yale (probably the top of my list)
-nyu
-cal arts
-oxford (rhodes scholarship anyone?)
-hammersmith mica
-prattcentral saint martins (i spent a year there already so that might not be the best)
-im looking at some schools in belgium and holland as well.that musuem school in boston
-and this sweet school outside of paris, that was recently built by my favorite architect, bernard tschumi. its a french uni (which means practically free to attend) and its focus is on new media.
these are all for fine arts. and these are all highly competitive and selective programs. but i tend to set my expectations and dreams quite high.
but i want to continue looking into fashion design and writing programs. so if anyone has any recommendations, i would appreciate that.
