Raarr. Unforeseen circumstances and uncurbed spending means debt is not much better.
Though I have cut up one of our credit cards, meaning at least $4000 has been paid down.
But then I had to buy a replacement laptop.
Goddamn I hate money.
My previous estimate didn’t take some things into consideration. It was more in line with $22,000.
Now it’s more along the lines of 17,000.
It’s progress, at least.

I’ve over spent whilst trying to make my partner and I comfortable in our new home in a new province. I have ignored my budget for the past 9 months, and am now approximately $15,000 in shared debt.
For someone who made it through university debt free, this is terrifying for me.
Time to pare down my life, stop the crazy spending, and get this situation sorted out.
I will assess this in 4 month intervals…
