Rudolph has got it coming to him!
Lobster: Shouldn’t be overly difficult to find somewhere. Maybe more tough if I want to cook a live one myself.
Moreton Bay Bugs: This one is probably going to be the last one on my list. I’ve seen that they’re included in some expensive dishes here in England, but I wouldn’t have a clue where to go to try them.
Clam chowder: I should have had this when I had the chance in California. I haven’t seen it in England before. I suppose it should be possible to make it myself if I can find some clams.
Alligator: This will be one might be difficult, although some people have claimed it won’t be that tough. I’ll keep my eyes open.
Oysters: I have some in the house at the moment. I can’t remember if I ate oysters or mussels before so I bought both.
Venison: This can be bought in one of my local supermakets.
Guinea Pig: I have no trips to South America planned, but pet shops do sell them. I don’t know if I’m up to animal slaughter though… Then the whole gutting thing. I guess I’ll do it to check it off the list.
Shark: Shouldn’t be ridiculously difficult, I wouldn’t have thought. An expensive sea food restaurant. I should have eaten this at Legal Seafoods in Boston, MA.
Sushi: Shouldn’t be much of a problem.
Barramundi: Same as Shark, I think.
Reindeer: Someone I know has eaten this before, so I have quite high hopes that Santa will be looking for a new mode of transport this holiday season.
Scallops: Like Shark and Barramundi.
Australian Meat Pie: This might be tough… I’ll just go to Australia :)
Durian fruit: People have said this isn’t too difficult to lay your hands on… It’s apparently getting the smell off your hands afterwards that’s tough.
Jerk chicken/pork: Pretty simple, I would have though.
Haggis: Scotland’s not that far away…
So yeah, all in all I would expect to eat half of what’s left on my list without too much trouble. The remaining half may involve travelling thousands of miles.
