Well, I have been doing much better than before. I have only hit the snooze or over slept 2 days this week (including the weekend). That is much better than before when I did it everyday. Well, except on the weekend because my son is an early riser.
But I have figured out what I have to do to ensure that I will wake up. . . I have to actually push the alarm under the bed far enough that it will take a little while for me to reach it to turn it off. And it works!! The 2 days that I hit the snooze was because I set the alarm on my phone for the weekend. I am trying to keep a consistant sleep schedule. Anyways, I am getting closer!

I have been setting the alarm now for weeks with the ambition to wake up when it went off- the first time. When it went off, though, I was trying to reset it. I was going to sleep for another 30 minutes, but since it is not electrical I have to wind the alarm hand around or it will go off in two minutes. I was trying to do this in the dark. I realized that after a minute of trying to “snooze” that it was taking more time to reset it. I was already awake. So, I thought to myself “Screw it” and went to get some hot tea.
I have to admit that I liked getting up before everyone else to enjoy so “me” time before I wake my husband and my son up. I think that this is a great reward for waking up earlier than everyone else.
