Unfortunately, it was because my purse was stolen out of my car. I had to cancel everything because the moron used my debit card- which shows me online when transactions are made. I noticed it immediately. I apparently got really lucky: I called last Thursday to report my purse stolen. Less than 3 hours later another police department called me to say that they had my stuff. The kid was being served a warrant and had my atm card in his wallet when they searched it. He said he found it on the ground. The cops luckily found my wallet (with license, SS card- should not have been in there- and my credit cards) stuffed in his robe pocket.
Anyways, he is probably out of jail while I am sitting here on the phone dealing with automated systems. I can’t use any credit cards or my debit. So, one of the best parts was saving money!! Too bad he will probably get off easy with the charges being all misdomeanors.
