I made the Basic Cable hat from Stitch ‘n Bitch Nation...it’s a great little project and knits up pretty fast.
(Hopefully, it’s not too little…I may have to pick something up at Mountain Equipment Co-Op to use as a backup if the hat’s too small.)

Restarted the Clapotis mini. This time I remembered the yarn-overs. (I’m on the increase rows right now; have to knit two more sets.)
I had to frog my Clapotis mini once I realized that I had missed some yarn-overs. Lots and lots of yarn-overs. (D’oh!)
I managed to do another 12 rows of my Clapotis mini while watching TV last night. Once again, I used the Fleece Artist sock yarn; this time I used one with a more distinctive colourway (which will hopefully be highlighted when I drop the stitches).
I still have to buy a 16” circular 5mm needle, though.
Well, at least I’ve started this goal. (I started a scarf.)
I’m planning on making a scarf,a hat, and maybe some Christmas tree ornaments—I hate sewing, so I want to do projects with as little sewing as possible.
