I’m now onto year two of my three-year plan to read through the entire Bible, so I guess I’m one-third of the way done. So far I’v read:
Levit, Num, Deut, Judges, Ruth, 1&2 Sam, 1&2 Kings, Job, Psalms (part), Isaiah (part), Micah, Mark, John, 2 Cor (part), Eph, 1&2 Tim, Titus, Hebr, and 1 Peter.
It’s been awesome!

Well, as September comes to a close (where did the summer go?!?) I am 1/4 of the way through the Bible. These past few months have brought many changes in my life including a new job and a move to a new state. With that, I’ve been looking for a new church home and trying to establish a community of friends here. It has been such a blessing to have had the consistency of daily time in God’s Word throughout these transitions. It’s cool to look back to January, when I made this goal, having no idea of what the next 9 months would hold for me, and to know that God knew and to see His faithfulness and provisions for me during this time. I’m excited to continue on with this goal over the next 27 months…I can’t even guess what God has in store for me in that time!

Well, it’s been 6 months since I started this goal and I’ve kept it up so far, reading each day. I guess I’m one-sixth of the way done…

I’m pretty sure I’ve read just about all of it over the years, but there could be some gaps in there somewhere that I haven’t accounted for. (Where’s that Zebediah anyway?) I started a 3-year reading plan in January 2006. Instead of going straight through Genesis to Revelation, it jumps around to a different book every few weeks but still hits everything. I should be able to check this one off New Year’s Eve of 2008.
