They make me happy AND self-conscious, honestly. But I need to get over that. So many people reach out and ask, “Is that your real hair?” I never know exactly how to respond (yes, it is my real hair, no not the real color). People seem amazed that it curls the way it does and that the color looks so natural to my skin.
All I have to say is that I really hated my hair until I got a fabulous haircut (worth the money a 100 times over). I always recommend finding a professional hair stylist who takes into account your natural hair type. It makes all the difference, no matter the cost.

Welcome to a new world of How Things Really Work. There was this blog called Creating Passionate Users, and it was fantastically written to include scientific thought, theory, and philosphy about how to 1)do better business for your customer and 2)truly motivate and empower your workers. On top of that, it taught you how to push to your own potential.
This was a fabulous blog, and I miss it. I miss learning crazy new things about my brain that I can try to use to maximize my abilities or experience.

I have not seen a ton of Bollywood movies, but so far, they have been awesome. The richness of the culture really provides a lush background for story, its extremes of happy and sad. I highly recommend Devdas! (where the photo comes from)

I love the feel of silk, the float of silk, the smell of silk. When entering a department store with silk, I love to inhale that odd perfume. I love the scent of silk on a man – that richness compounded by the two together.

He’s a lot funnier than you would think, and his most recent CD – Has Been – is really well done. My father always wants to be Shatner – something about Captain Kirk. He may have gotten closer to being Kirk than a Father. But still – Kirk/Shat rules!
The man has balls. How many 70 year old men do you know still do all the things he does, and are still pretty straightforward about being an average person?

I am surprised how much it seems like my iPod has become a part of my everyday life. I’ve always had a musical score in my head to my life – now I have 8000 options for every moment.
Is it too much? probably. Does it make me happy anyway? Definitely.

Good science fiction/fantasy is able to transport you fully to a separate world/existence – thoroughly and completely. From shoes to religion to colloquial beliefs.

I love to play Board Games. Sure – not every one of them, and not all the time. But playing them with others makes me happy. And that’s all that matters, right?

It’s one of those things that makes you feel good. Being able to be there for someone who needs it most. Perhaps it is true that we do nothing that does not attempt to strive for our own happiness, but in that, we must come to realize that part of our happiness comes from the happiness of others.

On my rant about spring, I love dandelions too! They are bright little suns across the fields and the lawns. So many people try to kill them. I love their color, their ragged edges and making them into necklaces and wreaths.
Something is only a “weed” if you don’t want it there. Roses can be weeds. Rather than using chemicals and things to get rid of dandelions, why not change one’s perspective? View your dandelions as a sign of spring and more sun! Let them live their brief lives rather than banishing them with chemicals.
