I have no idea what happened to my kombucha culture. For a long time it was in a ziplock bag in a drawer at my old apartment. I’ve moved around so much in the last 6 months that it seems to have disappeared in the shuffle. I’ll have to obtain a new one, I suppose. Craigslist?

I might try a continuous brewing system when I get this culture going again. It seems a lot more convenient than having clunky bowls all over the kitchen. I’ll have to either buy a kit, or possibly just find a decent sun tea jar? I’m not sure if that will work, I’ll have to do some more research. Can you imagine having kombucha, ready to drink at all times? That sounds fantastic!
...sitting in the back of a cabinet in my kitchen, locked up tightly in a plastic bag and has been so since I move to this apartment…in March 2008! I am a kombucha ADDICT, and I figure I should get the culture going again sometime in the near future. I end up spending a lot of money on the bottled stuff! Homebrew is tastier, anyways.
