A writer friend of mine, Bob Calhoun, will be reading at Cody’s Books on June 30th. (Scroll down to the bottom of the page!) I haven’t read the book yet, so I’ll be buying a copy of it and making sure he autographs it with something bizzarre, as I plan to make it an interesting addition to my collection.

I’m looking at the upcoming schedule for this and there are some authors I’d really like to see this summer. Neal Pollack! OMG!

Litquake 2 years ago

Litquake begins next Friday! I’m debating buying tickets to opening night. This is really something that I would like attend with a friend or date in tow, but I am too poor to purchase multiple tickets at the moment. Maybe I will ask around and see if I can spark some interest. I am very excited about some of the authors involved in the Lit Crawl, which occurs after the festival.

IRVINE WELSH, reading & book signing for THE BEDROOM SECRETS OF THE MASTER CHEFS. Set partly in San Francisco, it is the story of two men locked in a war of wills which threatens their very existence. Tuesday, August 22nd at 7 pm. The Booksmith, 1644 Haight Street, San Francisco. 415-863-8688.

I have to attend one of these anyways as an assignment for my writing class. Might as well start now.
