never give up on myself

Never is a long time and I do give up far too easily.

The most similar goal I have is ‘finish ten days to self discipline’ – well I’ve lost the course materials – let’s hope I can FIND them soon.

Another one for the ‘give up’ list.

But my two steps forward still keep me moving when I am pushed one step back!

...a few times during this past year.

But giving up on myself would mean giving up on my wife and my infant son which would not do.

So I have “true grit” and “a stiff upper lip.”

• True grit = displaying fortitude and determination
• A stiff upper lip = resolute & fortitude in the face of adversity, or exercising self-restraint in the expression of emotion
