By nature, I seem to turn on the computer first thing each day. It’s because so much of my life and what I do revolves around the use of it, and the internet.
So I’ve made the default opening webpage the following:
http://www.watchtower.org/bible/index.htm
Once that opens up I’m reminded that I should do at least a chapter before I start anything else. It seems to work most of the time! And it’s really easy to read a chapter in this format, as it doesn’t seem as much to read. I try reading out loud sometimes too… that helps make it come alive.
I’m in Ezekiel now and trying to get the whole Bible read before the end of year. I think it’s attainable. It will be the second time I’ve read the Bible through. The third time (starting next year) I’d like to follow a chronological reading schedule that a friend has supplied.
