My trainor gave me a new program. 12 reps of an exercise in 4 sets. 2 exercises are alternated with another. This is what is called a superset. There are no breaks in between sets. My god its been 2 days since my workout BUT my arms and chest still hurt!
No pain. No gain!
There has been some success with trying to gain weight. I think i gained around two pounds but unfortunately it just went to one place…my tummy area. What makes it sad instead of really happy is that it is also my goal to have a flat and toned tummy. Now I don’t know what to prioritize…
I’ve always been underweight. Over the course of 3 years I was able to increase my weight from 84 lbs to 93-95 lbs through weight training. However, I feel that additional 3-5 lbs will be great for me. I don’t want to drink protein shakes. I eat healthy and regularly. Sometimes I eat around 4-5 full meals in a day. I hope that my new exercise program will help me gain weight and keep it.
