work at a bookstore

Recently, my plan for my life was:
-finish high school, get good mark in HSC
-take a year off and work in a local bookstore/library
-either go to Uni and study to be a psychologist, nurse, author or editor-type person…
-...or continue working in local bookstore/library and spend the rest of my life there

Then I realised that after I finish high school, I won’t be living here anymore, so the whole idea of “local” bookstores goes out the window. I have no idea what to do with my life. But I still want to have a gap year, and earning money at a bookstore don’t sound too bad…

I don’t actually want to do this. But if I had to get a job, I’d either want to work in a bookstore or library, hopefully not needing to talk to people. I don’t want a job just yet, but if me and my friends are going to go on a roadtrip in a few years time, we might want some money.
