I love my father almost more than seems possible. He doesn’t know though. I’m so scared to get close to him. He has Hepatitis and Diabetes, had a liver transplant 10 years ago, and is on the waiting list for a new kidney. I’m so afraid to lose him. I really just need to do it. My family means so much to me, I just wish we were as close as we used to be. I know it’s partially my fault for growing up and shoving them out. But I should let them know how much I love them before it’s too late…
