I’ve been a bit relaxed on this, so I’m upping the anti a bit. I’m aiming from today to do some form of exercise every day, no matter what it is. We’ll see how I go.

My last entry talked about how I was ill and couldnt get to the gym, which was quite true. However, I’ve only been once since that entry, and frankly it was a pretty pissy effort when I was there. I have to get my butt back in there and push myself harder than ever!!
I’m having a nit of a mini break from the gym at the moment, I’ve been quite ill and since I’m not really eating anything, I figure I dont need to burn any calories!!!
Now all I need to do is make myself stop feeling guilty about it!! I AM ill, quite in fact, and I’m not using this as an excuse to get out of exercise etc etc…
Now I need to go better… I’ve been going great at the gym, but I think now what I need is a plan to keep me going strong, as well as tying in with my hectic shedule.
I’ve been going pretty well at the gym, really well, doing things better and faster each time. I decided to take a day off the gym yesterday (owing to a quite sizable hangover) and ended up going for an hours walk, just because I wanted to.
Also bought a nice cheap MP3 player, which is helping no end, motivating me just nicely to keep going, i end up walking faster to keep the beat!!
So far, so GREAT! I’ve been gymming, walking in the morning before work and also trying to add incidental exercise into my day.
I am worried that once the novelty wears off I’ll slip backwards, but for now I’m feeling really positive. Although last night I managed to do 1.4km on the eliptical, 15 minutes on the treadmill and 2 km on the bike and I came home, ate my dinner, and went to sleep! At 6.30!!
This goal was “go to the gym reguarly”, but I’ve been exercising by walking a lot and even a bit of booty shaking in my lounge room, so I decided to make the change!
I worked out for 15 minutes longer than usual last night, jumping on the eliptical trainer. I have attempted using this cardio machine before, but normally it makes me look uncoordinated, i cant get the rythym working or something.
Last night I did almost a km on it. I got to .93 of a Km and felt like I was going to have a heart attack (well, almost…) so I jumped off. Now I have a new goal, make the 1 km mark before the end of next week.
I also did 10 minutes on the treadmill, 10 minutes of spinning and all my arm weights. I’m not doing leg weights, I have a lot of muscle bulk in my legs already, I dont want to get more.

No excuses, just my fat bum and the treadmill!! Had a good workout, and felt great afterwards, albeit a bit stiff and sore. Walking today, back in the gym tommorrow!!
My best friend took me on a big walk along the beach yesterday, she knew I’d been having issues getting into excercise so she really kicked me off with a bang!
It seemed like a huge walk for me, not for her, but she’s so supportive, so great, she said Thursday she’ll take me for an even bigger walk!!
The rush of adrenaline from completing such a big walk made me want to excercise more, I’m off to the gym straight after work today!!
