Made in Ribeirão Preto – SP, Brazil
Rare honey wheat beer, it differs from all others in the world for the balanced mix of honey of African and European bees in use in its composition. This beer is prepared by hand with imported malts, wheat and barley, honey, hops, top-fermented yeast, besides the famous water of the Guarani Aquifer. This beer, slightly sweet and refreshing, reveals all its qualities when sipped very cold with a slice of lemon or orange tied to rim glass. It has an alcoholic strength estimated at 5.5% of its volume.
Just one personal comment: it’s my new favorite beer IN THE WORLD! (until something better show up to me =P)

It is moderately full-bodied and refreshing, combining with snacks in general, fried, smoked, cured meats and nuts. Goes well with traditional Uruguayan parillas and Brazilian barbecues. Appeared in 1936 in the southwest of the city of Minas, by the then Company Salus SA
Good beer, but a impressive one. I’d drink again, but it’s not one I’ll remember easily.
It’s great to see new faces here in this goal. It makes my entries disappear faster and make me want to do a new one faster too.

Beer brewed in Santa Fe in Argentina, under the supervision of American Anheuser Busch. Budweiser beer is a light, refreshing and easy drinking. 5% vol.

So famous for its ads, I’ve never drunk Budweiser before. It was another beer my friends had in the freezer to receive me in their home. I like it a lot too, but, as I drank Amstel before and loved it more, Budweiser didn’t shine a lot in this night.

My friends André and Narjara presented me this wonderful beer when I visited them in their home. I think it’s light and refreshing, perfect to the hot days (ans nights) we are having here lately (even the calender says the summer is past). I liked it a lot and I intend to buy some bottle by myself.

The name says it all: it’s gold! Not only the color but also the taste. This Ale beer is a differentiated type and has thickened slightly sweet flavor. Her sexy body and a fruity aroma reminiscent of spices, being prized for its unique combination. Its striking red color gold is a result of the distinctive properties of the grains of barley malt specially selected.

I was back to the bar I drunk the other Baden Baden and asked this one. I loved it! It is more delicious than the other and it’s one of my favorite wheat beer now.

As its name implies: Original. The Original Antarctica recipe preserves a tradition that began in 1906 when the young German brewer Henry Thielen founded the Adriatic. Using equipment from his country and ingredients of the new land, he produced that year the delicacy for the first time. In 1943, his brewery was acquired by Cia Antarctica Paulista. To maintain the charm, the brewery bought the label and preserve the light color, low fermentation, aroma and bitterness. Produced in small batches, this beer Lager has an alcohol content of 5.07% vol. and is sold only in bottles of 600ml. The beer is so sought after and valued that it became an attraction for bars that sell.

Yes, this beer is really a attraction. Just a few bars sell it and sometimes the people frequent them just for it. I drunk it last Sunday, on a lunch with my boyfriend in a street bar, eating good snacks. In a sunny day, a very cold beer with good company, could I be better? :D After a couple hours, some friends arrived there and loved our choice. But, as it is a more expensive beer than the other, we started to drink Nobel before all the money end.

Leffe, produced since the thirteenth century by the monks of the ancient Abbey Belgian Leffe, is the type most commonly used Beer Abbey in the world. The beer has the same recipe since 1240. It is a high fermentation beer, fruity and lightly spicy, and is also a dry beer. Lovers say that their mild aroma of malt and sweet flavor make it a great company for snacks.

At that night, I drunk Norteña, Stella Artois, Bohemia Weiss, Leffe and Dark Bohemia, in this order, drom the lightest to the strongest. Just two of them was new to me: Norteña and Leffe. And Leffe was the only one I didn’t like. To stronge to me, there was something that didn’t make me swallow well.
Is it just an impression or most of Abbey beer have much more alcohol than the other types? Well, I didn’t like Leffe and it’s good have much more alcohol and can feel its tasty, so it’s good at this point.

Norteña is bright yellow colored and carries a slight aroma of hops and fruit, plus a fine, soft and somewhat persistent bitterness. It’s a little full-bodied and refreshing beer. It combines with snacks in general, fried, smoked, sausage and chestnuts. Goes well with traditional parrillas from Uruguay and the Brazilian barbecue.

My boyfriend and I were invited for a store to go in a beer event, organized for them and a beer factory (that I’d like a lot to work in, by the way). I thought it’d be a simple thing, but, wow!, I could drink 5 different beers, as many cups as I’d like, and with appetizers harmonized with each beer. It was incredible! I learned a lot about beers, about the foods to eat with each one, I tasty some expensive beers I’d like to know before and had a great time laughing and talking to my love.
The most talked about beer was Norteña, that’s originally from Uruguay but now it will produced here in Bahia too. Light, delicious, my favorite at the night. And I wan a 960ml bottle to bring home, so I already have the beer to drink before the Starla’s concert tomorrow.

Primus is one of the Group Schincariol’s products, launched in 2002 to be a special beer with flavor, made with ingredients from the best origin, such as its water, which is extracted from natural sources in Sao Paulo, and thefamous Hallertau hops, a region of Germany known for the best aroma hops in the world. For these characteristics, Primus introduces itself as an outstanding beer aroma and refreshing taste and smooth, with good foaming, ideal for making very cold day-to-day.
Officially, it can be said that the name Primus was conceived as a tribute to one of the founders of the company, Mr. Primo Schincariol. But legend has it that this name is a direct reference to Jan Primus, also known as Gambrinus, a great connoisseur of beers, popular in the region where he lived. After getting involved with a married woman, was challenged by the cuckolded husband to a deadly duel. Jan won the battle and saved the life of his opponent, but to turn round, was knocked down by it. After this has been immortalized as the patron of brewers in the thirteenth century.

I drank this beer yesterday and 3 weeks ago, but didn’t register here. Good and refresh beer, not very common at the bars in the city, but it could be, because its price is on the avarage and it’s similar to Skol and other famous beers. I remember when it was new and it had adds directed to woman beer lovers. And I liked it!
So, RECOMMENDED!
