#16 - Backer Brown 16 months ago

“Balanced combination with chocolate notes. Dark coloration proceeding from the toasting of maltes. Inforgetable flavor and low fermentation. Alcoholic graduation: 4.8% vol.”

Made in Serra do Curral, MG, Brazil

Second work travel to Brasilia, I met a old friend from Minas Gerais who lives there. We went to a great bar, called Godofredo, with a huge beer menu. We agree we couldn’t repeat any beer during the night. We started with this one, from her birth state. It was the first time I drunk a beer with chocolate. It is very soft and I loved it!

#15 - Sol 16 months ago

Made in Brazil

Originally, Sol is a mexican beer. But, 2 years ago, it got a brazilian version. I like both!
I drank it in the line for Muse concert last week!

Great dark premium beer. My boss asked me to choose something to us to drink. And this beer was perfect in the cold night at Brasilia.

#13 - Antarctica Pilsen 18 months ago

As all typical beer of the pilsen type, it is clear and has low fermentation. Main product of the Antarctica, it is composed of common primitive extract and has soft aroma, flavor and bitter taste. Alcoholic graduation 5,07%vol.

Made in Brazil

It used to be one of the most famous beers in Brazil, but lately I haven’t heard much about it. Well, I drunk it in a work day night with some friends, to end our marguerita happy hour. It was extremely cold, great to a hot night! And it is soft, good to sleep nice and be ok to a Friday full of work on the new job! (yeah, I love don’t have night classes anymore on college :D)

#12 - Erdinger Dunkel 18 months ago

Erdinger calls itself the world’s largest wheat beer brewery. It was founded in 1886 by Johann Kienle, and its beer is the best-known culinary product of the city. The brewery did not receive its current name, however, until 1949 from its owner Franz Brombach, who had acquired the brewery 14 years earlier. The current owner is Franz’s son, Werner Brombach (from 2005). Currently, there are nine varieties available. One of them is the Dunkel – a dark brown type (alc 5.6%)

Made in Erding, Germany

The other bottle from the special Erdinger box :D I loved it too!
To my happiness, we drunk only my boufriend’s box and we will drink mine this week, in the “Couple’s Day” (here in Brazil we don’t associate the day with St. Valentine).

I really love wheat beer. It arrives so much better in my stomach and it’s the only kind of beer I can drink faster. And it’s much tastier than the “normal” beers too. Unfortunattly, it’s too expensive and I can drink it all weekends. I gave a box with this one, the Dunkel one and this special glass to my boyfriend and he gave me one box back for my birthday (yes, almost always he’s giving me the gifts before the right day :P).

#10 - Skol Beats 18 months ago

It is a typical clear beer, with fine aroma, light and soft flavor and it does not leave residual flavor in the mouth. Its level of bitter taste is less accented and its alcoholic level is average. Alcoholic graduation 5,2%vol.

Made in Brazil.

I like Skol and I like this version too. It’s more refreshing and great to a hot day at the beach or a dance party (but I drunk it on a little cold Saturday night). It’s less bitter and tasties as it has more water than the other beers. Approved!

#9 - Guinness 18 months ago

Guinness is a popular dry stout that originated in Arthur Guinness’ brewery at St. James’s Gate in Dublin, Ireland. The beer is based on the porter style that originated in London in the early 18th century. It is one of the most successful beer brands in the world, being exported worldwide. The distinctive feature in the flavour is the roasted barley which remains unfermented. For many years a portion of the beer was aged to give a sharp lactic flavour, but Guinness has refused to confirm if this still occurs. The thick creamy head is the result of the beer being mixed with nitrogen when being served. It is extremely popular with the Irish and, in spite of a decline in consumption over recent years, is the best-selling alcoholic drink of all time in Ireland, where Guinness & Co. makes almost €2 billion annually.

Made in Ireland

I always heard about Guinness and I was curious about it. But, wow, it was awful to me. The smell and the tasty are so strong. It really “remains unfermented” and I didn’t like it. I thought about use it in a meat, as I see in some recipes, but I was afraid of be a disaster and I loose the expensive beer and the meat. My boyfriend could end the bottle and I didn’t achieve the middle of it, so I gave mine to him.

#8 - Heineken Beer 19 months ago

Premium beer of Dutch origin, produced since 1873 with natural ingredients. Alcoholic graduation 5.0% vol.

Made in Brazil

I don’t dislike Heineken, but it isn’t one of my favorites. I think it’s the kind of “winter beers”, it’s too bitter to my tasty. It was a warm end of afternoon with my best friend last Saturday. And I love the bottle! :D

#7 - Therezópolis Gold 21 months ago

“Beer of golden color, with stimulant aroma of lupulus and generous creamosity. Produced with malt and imported pure lupulus, pleasantly dense. Therezópolis Gold harmonizes with the best plates: thai foods, indian foods, chinese foods, sushis, meats, sausages, salads with light cheeses, lobster and sea foods in the vapor. In 1912, the young Alfredo Claussen, descendant of Danish immigrants who had populated Teresópolis during century XIX, were pioneering when launching the Therezópolis Beer. In homage to the Master Alfredo Claussen, the Teresópolis Brewery relaunched this preciousness: the Therezópolis Gold. Alcoholic graduation 4.7% vol – 600ml (glass).”

Made in Teresópolis, RJ, Brazil

I was drinking vodka with friends before a party on the last Saturday night and some guys bought this beer. I don’t know if the vodka flavour and the very hot weather influenced, but this beer was to dense to me.
