Healthier lifestyle
1. Eat regular healthy meals- I have been very sucessfulwith this one, this week had a few blips, was going a little soy latte crazy
2. Taking my vitamins’- doing
3. Doing a detox- done
4. Sleeping regularly- 7-8 hours- I still struggle with this one and its usally caused by the dam copmuter0 ITS EVIL!!!
5. Work less over time- done
6. Read more- struggles wiht this one yet again, can’t get into the habit again, it really is the copmuter that sucks out the life of me, i really need to do something about it!!!
7. Drink tea- green or chai- this one iis good, someweeks i have a little less than i wish but for the best part i do
8. Eat less white stuff and more Whole wheat- doing very good on this one
9. Bring lunches to work at least 3 times a week- everyday i do

10. Drink litres of water a day- need to re focus
11. Start Doing Yoga- doing it loving it
12. Start exercise routine- anything!! yoga, lots of walking
13. Stop drinking pop- done
14. Stop drinking coffee- done well the past week soy lattes—-
15. Deal with my anger issues- still need to deal with
16. Stop my ocd over analyzing- getting better i at least notice that i am doing it which i hear is the first step, lol

17. Stop the negative talk- alot better!!! I rock, lol
18. Watch less TV/movies- grrr—-damm omputer!!
19. Stay smoke free done

Healthier lifestyle- 1st- April 7th
1. Eat regular healthy meals- Doing very well on this one, I even eat breakfast, followed by an am snack then a good lunch which I 99% make, then a snack in the afternoon and a health hearty dinner and a night snack- The only bad one I do is the pm one
2. Taking my vitamins’-Doing great on this one,
3. Excrise= I started yoga class and i am on my second round, and I love it. This may I start a belly dancing class too
4. Doing a detox= done- did the Dr.Natura one for 4 weeks
5. Sleeping regularly- 7-8 hours- off and on with this one. I need to get back on track on this one
6. Work less over time- really no over time anymore
7. Read more- I do this one a lot, the past two months I have been reading more health mags then books
8. Drink tea- green or chai- Almost every day
9. Eat less white stuff and more Whole wheat-I have learned to switch all white carbs into whole grains and some whole-wheat except for the occasionally sandwich at my fav shop
10. Bring lunches to work at least 3 times a week- do this 5times a week maybe once or twice a month
11. Drink litres of water a day-I do drink only water for the most part but sometimes feel I am not meeting this goal especially on my days off
12. Start Doing Yoga- done on second course
13. Start exercise routine- anything!!- Yoga and walking lots more, sometimes get off the bus 5 stops sooner and walk- goal for this spring/summer is to walk home
14. Stop drinking pop- done
15. Stop drinking coffee- done
16. Deal with my anger issue- trying started to read a book but haven’t finished it yet
17. Stop my ocd over analyzing-getting better but still a long way to go
18. Stop the negative talk-doing a lot better
19. Watch less TV/movies- not doing this one very well at all
20. Stay smoke free-done and done
21. Read more-doing great but need to focus on more books
22. Be green- using reusable container for lunch, bring bags to supermarket, and taking a class and getting a rain barrel and a composter

So i need to renew this one and all my goals,it seems somewhere down the line i lost my focus and need to get back.

First thing i did this week to start me off is i went and got the flu shot, i work with too many people see and deal with toomany germs that i thought it would be a good start.

1 get out of debt- working on it- trying to set up pre authrozied payments- still struggling

2 bring my lunches to work- have been doing it regularly, will consider it done by end of July

3 eat better- Doing this, eat fresh foods eating breakfast, shopping at farmers market every week

4 build up my immune system- taking care of myself with my vitimins- Vit d , zinc, thyroid, garlic pills, cold fx daily, mutli vit, eating well, sleeping better…now taking v b12- got my iron evels checked and I am all good

5 get up on time- actually gotten alot better- I still hit the snooze but I just re started my thryoid do this will take some time to work it self out…am up earlier then ever before usally wake up naturally at 8am and like to sllep in til 9 once i actually slept in til 10..wow

6 sleep better- been getting a good 7- 8 hours a sleep and very regular pattern- thryoid meds shpuld help over all

7 Take a mutli vita.. doing this! and then some

8 work less OT- step done from a manager job to a sales job—I love it!!

9 drink more water- I drink at least 2-2.5 litres everyday

10 do things I like- learning what I like and I am finding out lots of things about me

11 figure out what I like to do- defintly am finding out about me

12 get active- gardening, going for walks—walks not so muc lately, but lots of walking in my new role, knees and ankles are stronger and are planning to take a yoga class this summer

13 watch less TV I have maybe watched 10 hours of tv in the past 5 or 6 weeks- very rare now…maybe a movie once every other week

14 read more- keeping a log of books, reading healthly mags inbetween

15 be greener- being aware starting to pay attention

16 keep my house clean- doing very well I might have a spout here or there for a day or so but nothing major like before—still need to get on a regular rountine,.. its those damm dished I hate!!

17 quit smoking – DONE—-

18 Drink a cup of green tea a day- not evryday but a few cups a week

19 Detox- did a version I bought at the womens show but Want to do another one

Life 18 months ago

Well I finished my vacation and it was probably the best ever, I was out and about, gardened, went hiking and walking, went out to see two movies and read a book and just really enjoyed myself.

Yesterday was the first day of my new job and I loved it. The day went by quick, it wasn’t stressful and I was happy and had engery when I got home!! I was up at 630 left at 810 for work, worked 810-545 then got home made dinner and by 700 was like what am I going to do so I gardened til 830 then cleaned house and did little things til I went to bed at 11pm and then read before falling alseep. I mention this all only because it was nothing like what I used to be : tired!!!

I finally went to the doctors about my thyroid on monday and have booked two more app. with her this month to get things in order!!

Yeah me~!! I am on the right track!!

Its not the shape of my body but the shape my body is in!!!!



Crabby me.... 19 months ago

Not sure why but I am quite a crabby girl today. I am snappy and edgy. I feel blah, I have been on such a great track lately and yesterday and today I feel I have fallen off. Maybe I just need to sleep and process my thought…..

I need some clarity and relaxtion.

Good timing that today at 6pm I started my vacation, so yeahhhhhhh…...



Big step 19 months ago

On my path to a new and healthier me, i had decide that my current role is not so good for me or my life. I am always wound up, stressed, bitter, over worked. I was becoming burnt out and just going thru the motions, so i have decide to step down to the JNY position. It is a huge step and I am scared but I am still happy and a little nervous. Well here goes the start of my new life.

On my death bed I am not going to wish I worked harder..

So I am not sure what I want to do with my life but I am motivated to get an Ipod shuffle to start helping stay motivated and pumped and get out and do some walking and I want to buy a mini trampoline… An easy(???) way to help me get fit.

I need to conquer my demons and get on with my life or get it started.
