If you go back a few entries, you’ll find that I’m attending a Model Search America event in Las Vegas. It’s going to be at the MGM Grand Dec. 2-4th. There’ll be speakers giving us advice, and a party on Friday and Saturday night. The main event is a runway presentation where the agencies there will see you. On Sunday there’s callbacks. Not everyone will get a callback, I don’t expect any (I’m really short, and most of the angecing want runway models). But the experience I’m sure will be a blast. I’m getting pictures done for my portfolio tomorrow. I guess I’ll post back show ou guys (if they turn out alright…)

Does anyone have any advice on what to wear to the parties and callbacks, and runway, and how many copies of my pictures I should bring…?

Yay! Haha. I clicked a link on this site that lead me to modelsearchamerica.com. You fill and out an app., send in some pictures via the internet, and schedule an interview to see whether or not you would qualify to attend the even in Las Vegas. I was accepeted! I just got the schedule/info and brochure in the mail the other day.

This is going to be so cool.

(like the person below) my hairdresser has been telling me I should be a model. She was always entering pageants and beauty contests when she was younger. There are picture and trophies all over her little working area. I can only hope she knows what she’s talking about.

Then a lady that works at these high retail brand name stores, she just assumed I’d be modeling for some reason? I don’t know why. But yeah. Then a couple of my friends have been telling me I should. I haven’t decided on whether they’re just sucking up (there’s no reason to) or something.

But I think it sounds like fun. I just don’t know how to get started.
