One of my life goals is to get a couple of bands together and record my music, sell it to a major publishing company and record label and get the messages I want to purvey out to a wide audience. I have been writing songs since 1986 through till 2003, and it’s about time I got off my backside and put them down on tape and whatever other recording formats there are. Though I want to first establish myself as a solid live performer before signing anything – I know a number of fledgling musicians who think that shopping an unsolicited demo tape or CD to a major label will be a meal ticket to seeing their name up in lights, unfortunately it doesn’t always work that way.
