Addicted to rail travel - need a fix 2 years ago

After the air travel system shut down following 9/11, I made two cross-country trips by train. One was between San Francisco and Ohio and the second was between Los Angeles and Ohio. What a wonderful way to travel. I hope to take my daughter on a long distance train ride one day.
