and I’m still maintaining activity, just stretching really well before and afterward, icing afterward, using the topical stuff, and taking aceteminophen.



Saw a sports doctor today 16 months ago

Well, I am rewriting my lost entry that somehow disappeared. And my goal was checked completed. Maybe I am just really tired.

So, it turns out that my sore hip is an inflamed IT band, not my hip flexor. So much for self-diagnosis.

In order to fix it before my workshop and level 1 certification testing (one month from today), I will be seeing a physical therapist twice a week, alternating hot and ice on my hip, using a prescription topical anti-inflamatory cream on it, stretching deeply before and after exercise, not sitting on the floor for meditation but rather in a chair, and taking aceteminophen.

I am relieved that I had this taken care of, and that it is fixable!

This is a continuation of my old goal, exercise three times a day (as recommended by a professional to boost my metabolism)
