tell my partner I love him

i’ve been a little moody, well, actually a lot moody, and have almost broken it off, but luckily i’ve avoided saying/doing anything irreversible. tried when i gave him his pressie, but it sort of came out wrong, and i haven’t tried again… not sure if i’m gunshy or just a coward…

it’s his birthday, so this might be a good time to try to say those little words. it’s so much easier saying it with a (hopefully) thoughtful gift than verbally but i hope i can do both!

but after a few bad relationships, it’s harder than I thought to say those words. We all love to hear it (I’m no different), and I think he’s in a similar place to me, so we tiptoe around it, and show rather than tell. Gotta get over the feeling of losing control…
