have my own business

I’ve decided that I’m going to have a go at putting in my own hair extensions during the two weeks I have off in November – hopefully I’ll have lots of free time to perfect my technique. Expect an update on my success from 5th November onwards…

I’d like to be able to earn money independently – to know that people valued something I’d created or done enough to pay for it.

I really need to come up with an idea. So far I have:

-Making fairy wings
I need to figure out a way to make them efficiently enough that we wouldn’t need to charge £300 per pair to pay ourselves minimum wage. Also figure out if there’s enough of a market for them.

-Doing hair extensions.
There’s a lot of competition in this area, but if I first learned to do my own then this could be an extra little earner.

-Plastering
It would be great if I could learn to do this well enough that I could do odd jobs for people. Or even use it as part of a non-evil property development business. And it’s a lot cheaper & quicker to learn to do this than plumbing or electrics.
