I’ve really lost sight of my spiritual life, and a recent injury has COMPLETELY derailed my yoga practice. (And I know the two are closely related.) So in October, I’ve decided I want to expand my yoga practice and use it to more spiritual ends. A few specific goals:
1. achieve Sirasana (headstand)—that’s the big one.
2. master Ardha Chandrasana (“half moon pose”).
3. improve Savasana (“corpse pose”); stay present & meditative.

it’s national novel writing month, and i’ve always wanted to do that. (in case you’re unfamiliar, http://nanowrimo.org/) that will certainly be a new and-assuming i finish-fulfilling experience.
but for october & december i’m kind of undecided. october’s my birth month, december the holidays. so maybe i’ll do something really petty & egocentric in october-like go to an ayurvedic spa!-and then be totally selfless in december-do more volunteer work or something..well, i’ve got a while to think about that one.
