decide what the hell I would like to do with the rest of my life

I want to marry a wonderful woman (and live in a little house in a place where we’re allowed to marry…fortunately, the number of places like that is growing). We’ll have a kid and a cat and I’ll be a space propulsion expert. This career plan may have its origins in my watching WAY too much Star Trek, but hey, space is cool.

Time to sign up for some astronomy courses? I think yes.

Oh, yes, and I’d like to write a book at some point.

Someday, I want to live in a blue house. Or an apartment/condo where I can paint all the walls blue.

There are so many nice places that I’ve been thinking about and would love to live in. Canada (although I’ve only ever been to Vancouver), Costa Rica, Scotland…although Colorado is lovely as well :)

I’m planning on majoring in biomedical engineering in college, though I’ve also considered being a firefighter (the secret possibility that I haven’t shared with my parents just yet). Though they usually accept my aspirations, this one’s a little…out there.

I have plenty of time (including the seemingly-endless three more month of high school) to think. We’ll see.

I need to finish these college applications. I’m only applying to four schools, but they’re very selective, so my essays have to be good :) I love to learn and I think I’ll like the independence.

I will finish (and submit!) these applications sometime in the next week…and then I’ll sit on my hands and wait till admission notification in April. Why is it so far away??
