Okra’s new to me, and while I enjoy the texture of the vegetable (fruit?) itself, I’m not much of a fan of the gooey juice/fluids it expels. Perhaps, like mushrooms, it is an acquired taste…

Earlier this week, the chef fried it, and while it was quite tasty, I thought it somewhat defeated the purpose of eating vegetables in the first place.
