paint the living room

And now I need to let it all “cure” or something. I need to wait for 14 days or so before I put the 100-year-old clock back on the wall. I’m tired of saying, “DON’T TOUCH THE WALLS!” But it’s done, and it looks pretty good. Wow, I hate painting ceilings, but it had to be done. I’d gladly help someone do this. Painting is a job that’s best if you have a good friend there to help move furniture, change the radio station when your hands are full, and just to laugh with when you accidentally paint a skunk stripe in your own hair!

I’ve scraped, patched, primed, and trimmed. The ceiling is finally done (after having to buy a second gallon of paint.) Tomorrow is show time! I should have it all painted tomorrow—ceiling, trim, walls.

Oh, yeah. Part of the carpet got painted, too. My bad.
