Yearning to know more!

I have just finished reading The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand and it has left me with a burning desire to be an architect! I have no experience in design, and the thought actually scares me. Any advice on where to start?
Also, just wondering whether architecture is like music, dance, composition, painting…must you have an artistic vision and talent, or is it something you can learn?
I have not been struck with visions of beautiful buildings, i’m just curioius about the subject. Can I succeed?
