Natural hair is so versatile. You can braid it, cornrow it, twist it, dred it, leave it alone to do it’s own thing and the list goes on and on!
Once you process it, your choices are limited. Sure it’s the easy way out, having only to deal with sraight hair but I know I definetly don’t want limp and fragile hair, not to mention a terrible copy of a naturally straight hair type. I love my puffy and curly hair. Man, afros rock!!!!
Having an afro is so unique and interesting. I get so many people looking at me and instead of talking to my face, they talk to my hair!! (I find it quite funny actually)
Having afro hair makes one stand from the crowd. So if you happen to hate your hair type, you might as well quit coz it ain’t goin nowhere. Yeh, sure you can fry it with straighteners and chemicals but think about how much time and money you’re wasting. And I’m sure you could put both to better use.
Try to love your hair type, whatever it looks like. Don’t fight it, work with it. All it needs is a positive attitude and a hair routine. Don’t conform to people’s ideas of what is seen as the norm. You live for yourself and not for others. Bless
