support local businesses

1. I never dine at chains, always local restaurants
2. Boycott consumerist giants, like Walmart (NEVER in my life)
3. Watch movies at the little local theatre and never at a cineplex
4. Shop in 2nd hand bookstores as opposed to the big chains
5. Started to buy fruit and veg at the farmers market
6. buy bread at the local bakery
7. Rent movies at the local video library (not blockbusters and the like)
8. Coffee/Tea always purchased from the guy on the corner and point out to friends/colleagues that they are overpaying and waiting too long in line at big chain coffee places
9. Take Out – never call chains, food is way way better from local restaurants
10. buy furniture and decor at local flea markets, antique fairs as opposed to big boxx store (ikea? eugh!)
